If I Live to See it
Nasreddin Hodja surprises people around him with unexpected jokes even as a child.
One day his mother apprentices him to a tailor.
After a year or two, the elderly woman asks:
-“What have you learned, my son? Tell me and make me happy”
-“I’ve learned half of the trade so far. I’ve learned to unpick stitches. If I live to see it, I will soon learn to make clothes, my dear mum”
